Here is a fantastic opportunity to ride with Del and camp in the Winding Stair Mountains area in Oklahoma's Ouachita Mountains!

Cedar Lake, nestled in the picturesque Ouachita National Forest, is a prime destination for a variety of activities. Considered a part of Indian Nations National Scenic and Wildlife Area, many bass anglers travel to this tiny lake in eastern Oklahoma hoping to land a trophy bass. Surrounded by pine and oak covered hills, the 86-acre lake is a perfect place to simply relax with the sights and sounds of nature within three miles of shoreline.

The Cedar Lake Equestrian Camp serves as the central hub for over 100 miles of equestrian trails. The camp offers over 130 camping sites for equestrians, including 48 sites with electric and water hookups and 80 non-electric and undeveloped sites with centrally located water hydrants.

If you have ever watched John Wayne's True Grit, the Winding Stair Mountains is where he shot Ned Pepper in the lip.
