Best of America by Horseback invites you to submit your riding location to be showcased on an upcoming episode of our national television show, which promotes horseback riding locations and vacation destinations around the country every week on the RFD-TV network and on the Cowboy Channel.

All you have to do is send us your own photographs and/or video footage of your location and fill out the Location Information Form (near bottom) about your facilities and riding opportunities. Our editors will edit your information into a segment of our show and Best of America by Horseback television host, Tom Seay, will introduce your location to our viewers.

Your location will also be promoted on our website and in our monthly newsletter. Once the episode is broadcast on RFD-TV, it will be available to watch on our website and YouTube channel. You will also receive a copy of the show, which you are welcome to use to promote your facilities on your website, at expos, etc. The only cost to you is a one time out of pocket editing cost of $350.

You can see a sample of past locations on this highlighted playlist from the Best of America by Horseback YouTube Channel.

Shooting Tips

  • Shoot video horizontally rather than vertically-- this helps show more of the landscape and looks better on television
  • Keep camera steady using a tripod or other stationary object
  • Send in your best, high-quality images
  • Use natural light where possible
  • Be sure to feature your facility's amenities (campsites, tack shop, stalls, trails, etc) as well as the natural beauty of your area
  • If you are open year-round, try to send in photos of your location during different seasons
