September 9-13, 2020  Chisholm Trail Activities

Ride with the Best of America by Horseback team as they return to Kansas to ride the Chisholm Trail with the Clearwater Chisholm Trail Saddle Club. This filmed-for-television trail ride will be led by our Show Host and Trail Master, Tom Seay! Riders will enjoy a different, looped trail ride each day, driving cattle on horseback like cowboys of yore, evening events such as working cattle or roping, dutch-oven and campfire cooked meals, and live music by Del Shields with a campfire under the wide night sky. Riders will also visit Old Cow Town, a rambunctious wild west settlement, a living museum for experiencing the 1860s through thousands of authentic textiles, furnishings, and art!  You can check out the four-part series based on our ride from 2019 here.

Period dress (mid-1800s) &/or western clothing are highly encouraged!
