Andora Farm located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountians is where Tom and Pat Seay call home. This working cattle farm has rich history with the house itself dating back to 1758. Tom and Pat Seay enjoy hosting events at their farm including Team Penning Practice, Cattle Drive Weekends, the Annual Gathering at the Farm for their national television show, Best of America by Horseback and field trips for local schools.
Overnight Stabeling Travelers are welcome to stop by overnight to use the stalls to rest their horses and electric hook-ups. Or stay a few nights and use Andora Farm as a base camp to ride Lake Anna State Park, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Manassas Battlefield and other local day riding areas.
Team Penning Practice occurs every Friday evening from April through October, weather permitting. Tom and Pat Seay have been hosting Team Pennings and Team Penning Practice for over 20 years in the Blue Ridge area.
Cattle Drive Weekends are set for different weekend throughout the year. Included in the weekend is plently of driving and working cattle and riding horses. This weekend is perfect for any experience for rider or horse with driving and working cattle. Meals are shared over the dining room table in the historic farm house with Friday dinner, Saturday Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Meals are family/country style and noe one goes away hungry at this farm. There is no charge for stalls or electric hook-ups. This is a limited number rider weekend so don't wait to book your dates to drive cattle.
School Field Trips are available in the Spring and Fall at Andora Farm. School children will enjoy a hay wagon ride around the farm to learn about the local history of the farm and where some of our food comes from. They will get to see the horses and cattle and may even get a chance to feed them. They can stay and have a picnic under the shade of the walnut tree in the yard.
Tom and Pat Seay enjoy working their farm. They raise beef cattle, have horses and grow their own hay.
